Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was born on the 31 of July in the year 1954 in a remote village in Rawalpindi in Punjab. He is one of the prominent and most influential leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz who joined the party in 1988. Before this he was a part of the Pakistan Muslim League Functional from 1985 till 1988.
He started his political in the year 1988 where he was appointed the post of Minister of Science and Technology. He has also served as a Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources from 1990 till 1999.
He was appointed the Leader of Opposition in Pakistan National Assembly in 2008 and was also appointed as Chairman Public Accounts Committee till early June 2013.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali khan represented Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in the general elections of 2013 in which he won a National Assembly seat. He currently has the most powerful post of Federal Minister for Interior Pakistan.
